HubSpot AEO alternatives
If you are measuring AI visibility with HubSpot AEO and wondering what a first-party approach would show instead, this is the honest version of that comparison.
What HubSpot AEO says it does
HubSpot describes its AEO product as tracking AI visibility and giving recommendations to improve it, sold standalone without requiring a HubSpot subscription.
- Coverage of ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
- Brand visibility and sentiment analysis
- Competitor share of voice and citation analysis
- Prompt tracking and suggestions
- Prioritised AEO recommendations
| Plan | Published price | Note |

What your HubSpot AEO data means
Twenty-five prompts across three assistants at fifty dollars a month is a reasonable way to find out whether AI search notices you at all, and if that is the question you had, it has been answered cheaply.
Sentiment and share of voice describe the answer layer. They do not describe your funnel, and the recommendations are inferences about what might help rather than measurements of what did.
What carries over and what does not
If you are inside HubSpot's ecosystem, your CRM and attribution already exist there and none of it needs to move. Veribix reads your Google Analytics property and your logs and does not touch your CRM.
The prompt set carries over as a decision. Veribix runs name-free category prompts against a shared corpus, so the marginal cost of a wider category set is close to nothing, and branded prompts stay private to your account.
Running both
At fifty dollars, dropping HubSpot AEO to fund first-party measurement is rarely the right trade. Keep it and add the layer it does not have.
The honest framing of the choice is this: if a fifty-dollar polling tool already answers everything you need, you do not need us. If the next question after 'are we visible' is 'what was it worth', that answer comes from your own systems, and that is the whole reason Veribix exists.
Before you decide
Twenty-five prompts is a small sample. Check whether the prompts you track are the ones your buyers would actually type, because at that count each one carries a great deal of weight.
Then be honest about the question in front of you. If fifty dollars a month already tells you what you need, nothing on this page should persuade you to spend more, and we would rather say that than sell you a layer you have no use for.
And check whether you are already inside HubSpot. If you are, the integration argument is real and it costs you nothing to keep; if you are not, you are buying a standalone polling tool from a company whose interest is eventually selling you the rest of the suite.
Questions
- HubSpot AEO is $50. Why would I pay more?
- Only if you need the question answered that polling does not answer. If nobody is asking you what AI traffic contributed in revenue, a polling tool at fifty dollars is a sensible purchase and we would not argue with it.
- Do I need HubSpot to use HubSpot AEO?
- No. HubSpot states that no HubSpot subscription is required for the standalone AEO product.
- Does Veribix give recommendations?
- It reports what changed and what a change coincided with, including when the honest verdict is that no effect was detectable. It does not produce a prioritised list of actions, because a measurement tool asserting causation is how measurement stops being trustworthy.
