Veribix

Veribix vs BrandPeek

What each product measures, from which data source, and what neither of them can see. Everything stated about BrandPeek here comes from BrandPeek's own site.

What BrandPeek measures

BrandPeek polls a broad provider set and meters usage in credits rather than in prompts, which makes the cost model closer to consumption than to a seat licence. Its free tier is genuinely usable for a first look — twenty-five credits and two providers per topic — and unlimited data retention arrives at the Growth plan.

It layers optimisation suggestions and a fact-sheet generator on top of the monitoring, aimed at acting on what the polling finds.

What Veribix measures

Veribix reads your own analytics, logs and crawler data and reports the funnel that followed: which AI crawlers fetched which pages, which assistants sent sessions, what those sessions did, and what they were worth. Each number carries its provenance.

Veribix does not generate content or fact sheets. That is a deliberate boundary rather than a gap — a measurement tool that also writes the thing it measures has an incentive problem, and we would rather not have one.

What neither can see

Before comparing features it is worth naming the limits both approaches share, because a vendor that does not name them is not being straight with you.

Referrer stripping is the first, and credit-metered polling cannot detect it at all. A visit that began in an answer and arrived without a referring page is indistinguishable from someone typing your domain, in any analytics property, using any tool.

The second is the mention that led nowhere. Location tracking will tell you where you are named; whether being named in a market produced a single session is a question your own analytics answers or nobody does.

The third is variance between runs, which credit metering makes visible in a useful way — each credit is one sample, and one sample is not a measurement. Veribix reports presence as a share of runs with the count attached, for the same reason.

Questions

Does Veribix have a free plan?
Veribix's entry point is a free audit rather than a permanently free tier. BrandPeek offers a permanent free plan with 25 credits a month.
Does Veribix write content or generate fact sheets?
No, and it will not. A tool that both measures visibility and produces the content it measures has an incentive we would rather not build into a measurement product.
How long does Veribix keep measurement evidence?
By plan and by your retention setting, and the evidence trail is exportable at any time, including after cancellation.
