Veribix vs AIAttention

What each product measures, from which data source, and what neither of them can see. Everything stated about AIAttention here comes from AIAttention's own site.

What AIAttention measures

AIAttention polls up to twelve models and compresses the result into a single score from zero to a hundred, with competitor detection and a trend line. Its Business plan exposes raw model responses, which matters — a score you cannot open is a score you cannot check.

Scores of this kind are useful as a direction of travel. They become misleading when treated as a measurement, because the underlying answers move between runs and a single composite figure hides how much.

What Veribix measures

Veribix deliberately does not produce a single composite score for AI presence. It reports how often a company appeared across a stated number of runs, shows the sample count, and refuses to compress that into one number that implies a stable order.

The other half of the product is what arrived: crawler hits, sessions, key events and revenue from your own systems, per assistant and per page, each figure carrying its provenance and a confidence label.

It is also worth noting what a score cannot carry. A single figure has no room for a sample count, no room for an interval, and no way to show that half the underlying readings disagreed with the other half — which is precisely the information a careful reader needs before acting on it.

What neither can see

Before comparing features it is worth naming the limits both approaches share, because a vendor that does not name them is not being straight with you.

Referrer stripping is the first, and a composite score cannot represent it. A number from zero to a hundred has nowhere to put the fact that an unknown share of the traffic it implies arrived unattributable.

The second is the mention that produced nothing. A score can rise while sessions stay flat, and without first-party data there is no way to tell whether that divergence is noise or the whole story.

The third is variance between runs, which is the specific reason Veribix declines to produce a score at all. Compressing a moving distribution into one figure hides exactly the quantity a careful reader needs, which is how much it moves.

Questions

Why does Veribix not give a single visibility score?
Because answers vary between runs, so a single number implies a stability that does not exist. Veribix reports the share of runs in which a company appeared, with the sample count shown.
Does Veribix let me see the raw model answers?
Yes, on every paid plan. Stored answers are the evidence behind any presence figure, and a figure whose evidence you cannot open is one you cannot check.
Does Veribix detect competitors automatically?
Competitors named in stored answers are recorded, and you can also track a list you choose. Prompts naming a competitor are treated as branded and stay private to your account.
