Veribix vs Siftly

What each product measures, from which data source, and what neither of them can see. Everything stated about Siftly here comes from Siftly's own site.

What Siftly measures

Siftly meters by responses rather than by prompts alone, which is a more honest unit for a category where the same question must be asked repeatedly to mean anything. A hundred responses on the free plan and a hundred and eight thousand on Scale is a wide range.

Notably, its Scale plan lists AI bot crawl tracking together with GA4 and Search Console — so at the top tier Siftly reaches into the same first-party territory Veribix occupies, rather than staying purely on the polling side.

What Veribix measures

Veribix treats first-party data as the foundation rather than as a top-tier addition. Crawler activity from logs or Cloudflare, sessions and revenue from GA4, search context from Search Console — these are the starting point on every plan, and the answer polling is built to explain them.

The difference that matters when comparing is where the evidence lives. Every Veribix figure resolves to a redacted log line, an analytics row, or a stored model answer, and the interface shows you which.

What neither can see

Before comparing features it is worth naming the limits both approaches share, because a vendor that does not name them is not being straight with you.

Referrer stripping is the first, and it applies even at the Scale tier where GA4 is already joined. Joining analytics does not recover a referring page that was never sent, so the honest output is a figure with a stated attributable portion, not a smoothed total.

The second is the mention that produced no visit. Response-metered polling finds it; no amount of first-party joining explains what it did. Both halves of the picture have a hole and they are not the same hole.

The third is variance, which response metering handles well by construction. Reading thirty thousand responses as a distribution is exactly right, and it is how Veribix reports presence too — share of runs, sample count shown, no single composite figure.

Questions

Siftly's Scale plan already includes GA4 and crawl tracking. What does Veribix add?
The join is available from the entry point rather than at the top tier, and each figure carries a confidence label and a link to its evidence. Whether that is worth a switch depends on how much the provenance matters to whoever reads your reports.
Does Veribix do citation outreach?
No. Veribix measures; it does not run campaigns or publish content on your behalf.
How does Veribix count sampling?
Results are reported as the share of runs in which a company appeared, with the number of runs shown alongside. A single reading is treated as a sample, never as a settled figure.
